Great value on the DTF starter kit

I was looking to get into DTF printing without spending a fortune, and the DTF starter kit here was a really good deal. Good supplies, shipping could be faster

I ordered some screen printing frames and a new scoop coater. The products themselves are good quality, exactly what I needed for my small setup. The frames were sturdy and the coater spread emulsion evenly. My only minor gripe was the shipping time; it took just over a week to arrive. Not terrible, but I've had faster. Kolormatrix is definitely legit. Been buying from them for a few years now, solid products and their tech support actually knows their stuff. I've had good luck with their DTF inks and films.

They're a real company, not some fly-by-night operation. I mean, they've got physical locations for training and stuff. Quality-wise, I'd say they hold their own against Ryonet for sure, maybe even better for DTF specific things. My printer from them has been a workhorse.

I've heard the bundles are where the real savings are at Kolormatrix, especially for equipment. The supply codes are usually just like 5-15% off, but the bundles are like $100-500 off. So if you need a printer, that's probably the way to go.

Shipping for printers can be a bit variable, they're big items. I ordered a heat press a few months back to California and it took about a week and a half. Might be similar for a printer to Chicago.

My DTF printer from them took about 8 business days to get to me in Texas. Not super fast, but not terrible. I'd factor in at least a week to be safe.

Yeah, they do financing for big stuff. I think it's mentioned on their site somewhere, probably in the FAQs about shopping. Pretty standard stuff, but it's there.

Got some opened ink I might need to return if I end up not using this printer model. What's their return policy like for opened consumables? Is it a nightmare or pretty straightforward?

Uh oh, opened ink is usually a no-go for returns with most places like this due to contamination. I'd double check their return policy on the site, but I'd assume once it's open, it's yours. Good luck though!

Yeah, for opened consumables like ink, it's usually non-returnable. I remember reading that in their FAQs when I was thinking of trying a new ink type. They're pretty strict on that to prevent issues.
